is an illegal homemade minimoto?
hi! I live in a small rural town (only have one zellars three policemen and a couple of shops conveneance) paved roads and some simple. rototiler engine Tome and soldiers of a steel tube frame and put a chain wheel to wheel Barol. It is a very small bike that I get everything. im 16 no license. Is it really illegal for me to mount over whether it is only in the day with a DOT helmet nice and slow? if it is what are the chances to be discovered and what is the consiquence? i ride my 82 ATC 200 at around a lot and havnt had many problems. its a bit of fun minimoto me and my friend built. Somtimes I walk around but I have no Mony and Barly AFORD can put gas in it. I go to jail or a fine of thousands of dollairs? im in the country and love driving. Please answer honestly.
For driving on the roads? Probably totally illegal! It should be inspected as a bike for you can ride legally on the road. From the sounds of things … this machine would not! Even with the helmet (well … unless you're using one!), Could not be some serious consequences for getting caught. Driving a inspected, uninsured unregistered vehicle without a license. Driving a vehicle that does not have the necessary lights (headlights, rear light signals turn, etc.). While you probably would not go to jail, fines for these offenses will have a big mouthful of your finances. Conviction of any of these offenses can result in suspension of your driving privileges for a while (yes, your license may be suspended before you get to it!). You can take a break from living in a small town … you know the police in your town … could only warn … or ticket you. It would be of them. If I … I'd keep the minimoto on the road to avoid any possibility of problems (also ATV and illegal!). While the fines would not be likely thousands of dollars, is more of a problem you want to deal with!
