88 S10 pickup, emerg brake cable broke just behind handle, how do I release brake without a handle ?
The pedal is still engaged, it did not pop out like it should, and it is physically still engaged.
If it broke behind the handle, what is holding the brake on? I believe you have a second problem to look for.
